Realizada na noite do último domingo e com exibição marcada para essa segunda feira na FOX americana e simultaneamente no Brasil pelo canal E!, a cerimônia de entrega do Teen Choice Awards 2010 premiou os melhores da tevê, da música e do cinema no último ano. O evento que foi apresentado pela cantora Kate Perry é considerado uma das principais premiações do público adolescente.
Nessa edição, o maior destaque ficou por conta de The Vampire Diaries, vencedora de 7 categorias da noite, entre elas, Melhor Série de Fantasia, melhor ator e atriz. Gossip Girl também foi destaque, assim como a novata Pretty Little Liars, que venceu todas as indicações dedicadas ao Midseason.
